Avant-pop siren Alex Lilly has always colored outside the lines, whether in her earliest incarnations as Obi Best, Touché or in the madcap Buddhist punk band Zero DeZire, who opened up for Peaches. And she does know where the lines are - her other exploits have included her role as the “fourth sister” in the harmonic quartet the Living Sisters, and touring gigs with Lorde, Beck, and the bird and the bee.

Lilly released her debut album 2% Milk on January 11, 2018, followed by her second full-length, Repetition Is a Sin, on October 21, 2022 via Release Me Records.

L.A. RECORD:

“Lead single ‘Distracting Me’ is a light (but not slight) pop song with a punchy beat and engaging twisty-turny melodies.”

BUZZBANDS.LA:

“‘Distracting Me’ is a peppy, synthy prance between handclaps and bass that stop and start in a way sort of mimicking the distraction itself.”
