Release Me Records is an independent record label founded by musician Inara George of the bird & the bee.

The label’s first release was George’s 2018 solo album Dearest Everybody featuring the single ‘Release Me.’ The following year saw the release of Alex Lilly’s critically acclaimed 2% Milk and Samantha Sidley’s full-length debut, Interior Person, named LA Times’ Top 10 albums of 2019.

In 2021, Release Me Records continued the "Road Angel Project" charity series, first introduced in 2020 in conjunction with Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. 2022 saw the release of Alex Lilly’s second solo album Repetition is a Sin.

On March 20, 2026, Inara George released Songs of Douglass & Littell, a new album that revisits songs written over thirty years ago by her longtime friends Eliot Douglass and Philip Littell.
